For sale is a Selmer Paris “Spirit” alto saxophone mouthpiece, 210 facing. 2.10mm (.0827”) tip opening, medium facing. Medium chamber, plays with characteristics similar to a Meyer and JAVA mouthpiece combined. Healthy baffle, see the photos.
The mouthpiece is in excellent condition and lightly played. Comes with the original felt bag and packaging.
I’m selling it just to lighten the collection. Plays well, especially with V16 reeds. Full sound with excellent projection, works well in jazz combo and big band lead settings alike. Think of it as a Meyer on steroids. These are a precursor to the modern Jazz Flow mouthpiece and have a little more aggressive character in comparison. They’re becoming harder to find and cost around $250 from France.
