I am scheduled to premiere “Shining Synergy,” a new saxophone duo work by composer Dr. Doug McConnell. The premiere will take place on October 3rd at Heidelberg University’s Ohl Hall at 2:00pm. This performance is part of the of the composer’s retirement concert to celebrate a distinguished career at Heidelberg. The duo will be performed alongside my teacher, Dr. Gail B. Levinsky. I am scheduled to premiere “Prisms of Light,” a new fanfare work for saxophone ensemble by renowned composer Augusta Read Thomas. The premiere will take place on October 22rd at Bowling Green State University’s Kobacker Hall at 2:30pm. This performance is part of the 42nd annual Bowling Green New Music Festival. I am pleased to share that “Sanctuary,” my recently commissioned work for soprano saxophone and piano by Viet Cuong, will be performed on the Bowling Green New Music Festival on October 23, 2:30pm. The performance will take place at Bowling Green State University’s Kobacker Hall and represents the first major festival performance of this new work. I will perform the work alongside pianist and composer, Benjamin T. Nylander, as Duo Aurous.
